MIA

Treated with traditional braces

Mia initially came to our office with her parents, who had seen multiple orthodontists previously and were told that tooth extraction would be needed for her teeth to have enough space. Tooth extraction is commonly used during the orthodontic process to create space. The parents really wanted to avoid extraction if possible. We started by using an expander to create extra space. We then transitioned to fixed braces to align the teeth into the new space that we were able to create. We successfully achieved all the goals of aligning her teeth and correcting her bite without extracting any adult teeth. Her treatment lasted 20 months.
